Evia Taylor Imaeus---
the player
name: sunrea? experience: eightish.
the character
name: Evia Taylor Imaeus ||Sailor Star Gemini|| gender: female age: 18 birthdate: June 11th occupation: student ||Sailor Star Gemini|| sexual preference: boys.
the costume
desired celeb: Becky Lou Filip unique features: startlingly green eyes.
appearance: Evia is friendly in appearance, with her curly brown hair and her bright smile. She likes to wear her hair in all sorts of different styles but finds that it is ridiculously difficult to straighten. She has soft bangs that are brushed to one side of her face, usually the left. Evia has soft, pale skin that needs no foundation usually and a minimum of blush. One remarkable trait about Evia is her eyes. They are a startling shade of bright green, almost like acid. People are either tempted to stare at them or they avoid looking at all. She wears darker eye shadow and eyeliner to soften their effect but it rarely works. Evia's lips are peach colored and on the smaller side. She only adorns them with the necessary chapstick, almost always in a fun, fruity flavor. Her build is mild and soft, with no major curves to speak of. In scout form, Evia has regular white bodice with acid green sleeves that have a mother-of-pearl sheer cloth over them and her skirt is the same. Instead of a traditional bow, she has a butterfly shaped bow on the back of her skirt with the same mother-of-pearl covering and an emerald in the center. Wrapped around her neck is a choker made of mother-of-pearl butterflies with her emerald sailor brooch in the center, surrounded by clasping hands. Her flats are made of a thicker version of the sheer cloth, with an emerald in the center. She has leggings the go to just below her knees that are white.
the play
preferred weapon(s): Evia fights with her bow and arrow. The fletching on her arrows bear a resemblance to butterfly wings and the string of her bow has a mother-of-pearl sheen to it. The wood of her bow itself appears to be something like ivory with tiny butterflies carved into it. If she doesn't use her bow, she uses a dagger with a mother-of-pearl hilt. strengths: Evia is good at communicating with people no matter who they are. She has excellent aim and is just as good of a liar. She has a talent for being able to mimic people, in voice or in action. weaknesses: Evia tends to stereotype people and simply write off their wrongs as 'human nature'. She has somewhat of a short attention span. Also, Evia is physically not strong at all. specialty: Long distance fighting.
personality: Evia is almost invariably a Gemini. She is overly energetic and likes to be everywhere at once. If it's shiny, she looks at it, probably touches it too. She is willing to try anything once and is almost always excited to do so. Life is all about what you've experienced in her opinion. Evia loves to travel and see new places. Actually, Evia really just likes things new. New clothes, new places, new people, it doesn't matter. New means different and different is interesting. She's also extremely charismatic. People often open up to her because she's so easy to talk to and get along with. She has a certain charm about her that is almost impossible to deny. That charm gets her into parties and into whatever crowd she wants. But Evia doesn't usually stick around for long. Things and people get boring. Evia seems to know something about everything and is full of interesting facts. She likes to talk about anything and talking certainly isn't difficult for her. She's the master of small talk. She gets ideas quickly and has a mind for memorization. Evia is everything bright and bubbly about a Gemini. Unfortunately, that bright bubbliness also means that she has a short attention span. She often doesn't follow through with things and is a little bit shallow. Not shallow in a mean way but she sometimes completely lacks depth. Evia loves her twin, Evan, more than anything in the world and he is possibly the only person who can get her to talk seriously about something for hours on end. He is the darkness to her light.
history: Evia Taylor Imaeus and Evan Tanner Imaeus were born on the 11th of June to Julia and Kevin Imaeus. They were a set of beautiful, healthy twins. Their parents were wealthy and adventurous, not interested in their new children at all. So Evia and Evan were raised by sets of nannies. One nanny after another was all of the life that Evia and Evan knew. They spent every moment together and even did the stereotypical twin thing, speaking at the same time. They had the same thoughts and the same feelings. They lived in their grand house, playing with each other and their pets until they were old enough to be shipped off to a co-ed boarding school. It was in school that they finally became separate people. At first, they both made friends and got along well but it soon became apparent that there would be problems. Evia, with her quick tongue and easy charm, made friends with everybody. People flocked to her for friendship that didn't come with deep emotional ties. As she grew older, she became quite popular and would often be the life of the party. She was well liked. Evan was not so lucky. As a young boy, he was an extraordinary liar. He lied constantly and to anybody except Evia. He began to get extremely moody and hard to predict. At times, he could be as charming and social as his twin but then he mood would change like the wind and he'd be throwing a fit or, in his later years, punching somebody's lights out. Evan quickly became pessimistic and analytical. As the logical twin, Evan was the one who was stuck bringing Evia down to earth and he eventually started to do it with everybody else. He natural Gemini curiosity led him to try drugs and to drink, which made him even more moody and unstable. After Evia and Evan discovered that it wouldn't make a difference to their parents if they went to an ivy league college or worked at McDonald's, Evia and Evan decided to move. Moving gave Evia the chance to see new places and Evan the chance to get away from everything he knew. And that's where it began. In the first night at their new house, Evia and Evan both discovered their brooches and the fact that they were sailor scouts.

sample roleplay:
From Planet of Eira, another Sailor site I used to roleplay on.
Kitoko's bright hazel eyes widened in panic as Makawee disappeared. Makie's body seemed to glimmer and then wink out of existence right before her face. The disappearance hardly seemed on purpose. Kitoko had known Makie a long time and she'd never noticed her do that before. With the span of a second, Kitoko rushed through her own thoughts and then launched into action. Whatever was going on, she didn't want Makie to be alone for it. She reached into the core of her being and pulled out a vine of pure power. She tossed it over Jigen and Makawee, wrapping it firmly around them. Chances were, neither of them would feel it because, really, the vine of power was just a way for Kitoko to keep track of them. As soon as her power touched Makie, a strange force surged through the vine and Kitoko felt it pull at her in a way that was almost angry. She watched Makie disappear right before everything in her vision went black. In that blackness, she felt her tie to her friends stretch thin before she lost consciousness. Kitoko awoke suddenly, frustration spilling through her entire body. Her back ached and her head swam as she tried to focus her tired eyes. She tried to take deep, even breaths as she worked out her position but quickly found that to be impossible. Something (a corset, she assumed) was wrapped tightly around her torso. It was tight enough to make breathing difficult. Kitoko frowned and felt her bodice. Her waist, already not terribly large to begin with, was strapped down impossibly tight behind multiple layers of cloth. She could feel no immediate lacing and she assumed that it was tied in the back. Her forehead felt uncomfortably cold, as did her eyes. It took her a second to recognize that she was, in fact, laying down in a bed, with a wet washcloth over her eyes. That would be why everything looked fuzzy and grey. Impatiently, Kitoko reached up and pulled the cloth off. Light instantly blinded her, causing her to gasp in surprise. Kitoko heard people scurry as they obviously noticed her movement. Slowly, but surely, shapes came into focus. She noticed three young-looking maids and a stuffy looking older man all looking down at her anxiously. What happened? Where's Makie? Where's Jigen? Who are these people and why am I dressed like this? Kitoko thought as she studied all of the people around her.
