[/font]Once the valiant protectors of the Earth, the Sailor Scouts took on any challenge and felled many great forces seeking to bring the world to it's knees. People grew used to these nameless celebrities coming to their aide in the most painful times, and even those who were far from their center of events heard of these powerful young women. Years of pleasant protection passed as the Sailors grew more weary with every fight. No one ever thought that a day would come without the protection of the Sailors.
Soon a change took place on Earth that sent people into a panic. At first no one noticed much of the difference, and those who did wrote it off without a second thought, but then something extreme happened to bring the problem to light, so to speak. Night had fallen on the Earth, and in many cases, had not lifted the next morning as it had every day in the past. Panic overtook cities of now eternal night, and those places that weren't caught in the night lived in dramatically extended periods of darkness. Worst of all was the lack of stars in the sky and not a Sailor Scout in sight. With the mysterious disappearance of the Sailor Scouts, the lasting night, and rumors of a new organization floating around, what trouble will fall on the world?

[/font]Just as night fell on the world a new name held powerful dominance over rumor and conspiracy theory. Umbraregnum: a shadowy organization with questionable motivation and untold powers. Resembling a group known as Shadow Galactica, Umbraregnum seems to be questing for a power that isn't fully understood by any. While many have their theories about this organization, Umbraregnum hasn't been seen as a full entity, nor has there been any solid proof of any wrong-doing by any working under this title. Umbraregnum is blamed in rumor for the fall of night, but it is unknown how much power these people hold, or if they are even real people at all. Through dark and fully night engulfed locations it is often said that many who are assumed to be Umbraregnum operate in the shadows, though there is no real proof of this either.

[/font]As if all of the other changes in the world aren't enough, there is also a shift of power occurring just below the surface. Not fully known to many yet, there have been born those with a new calling just as the Sailor Scouts. Awakening with a mysterious broach next to their bed, young woman are learning of their connection to the missing stars from the sky. Taking on powers much like the original Sailor Scouts, Star Scouts are being discovered, though none have much grasp on their power yet. There is no telling how many Star Scouts could be awakened, but if it is anything like the number of star systems in space there will be a seemingly endless amount. While this power is being given mysteriously, not all Star Scouts are best material for the job, so they will find that someday they may all have to work together just as the legendary Sailor Scouts before them. These Scouts take it upon themselves to figure out the mystery of the disappearing Sailors and the everlasting night, but it might take some time, especially considering how little they actually know about themselves.
